Nominations opened on the 25th November and closed 17th of December. We are now ready to take your votes, this opens on 20th of December and closes 27th of January. The confirmed candidates that are standing for the 2014 General Election can be viewed using the link below.
As a reminder for the purpose of this general election, the Iwi register closed at the same time that the nominations closing date happened, Tuesday 17th December 2013 at 12pm. The Iwi register will re-open when voting closes on Monday 27th January 2014 at 5pm.
You may continue to register with the organisation while the elections are in progress however you will not be eligible to vote.
For those members who are registered with Okahu-Inuawai and are eligible to vote, due to the Christmas holidays being upon us it may take time for your voting pack to get out to you. Please be patient. If you have not received your pack within the next ten working days there is an 0800 number you can ring to speak to someone from Electionz.
The Nga Hapu office closes on 24TH December at 12pm and does not reopen until the 6th of January 2014.
