Ngaruahine will be sending a contingent of kapa haka and sports roopu to Waverley for the Taranaki Tu Mai Festival being hosted by Nga Rauru.  This is an opportunity for Taranaki whanui to come together with Hakinakina, Kapa Haka, Wananga, to celebrate Taranakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Whakapapa.

Hakinakina includes duathlon, golf, tennis, rugby, touch, league, netball, kaumatua and kuia activities

Kapa Haka involves compulsory waiata – Whakawaiwai ana.  Whakataetae and Ngahau.

Wananga on Reo and Waiata

Registration Fee is $5 pp which includes entry to sports and hangi on Sunday.  T-Shirts are available for $30
