Tātai Hono are a research group made up of Ngāruahine uri looking at iwi engagement. We would like to bring together a group of Ngāruahine rangatahi (youth) to join our research group for ‘Kai & Kōrero’ on Friday 30 August, 2019. The idea is to bring together like-minded rangatahi to start some conversations around what they see for their future as Ngāruahine uri!
We hope to;
* connect and build relationships with our rangatahi
* share, discuss and understand your perspectives on iwi engagement, leadership, connections, politics, society, culture and the future of our iwi
* talk about our research project; Tātai Hono
We only have a small budget this time, so are asking for rangatahi to share with us some information about themselves and what it means to be Ngāruahine – we will then select up to 12 rangatahi to join us for this networking opportunity.
If you’re 18-25 years old, whakapapa to one of the six hapū groupings of Ngāruahine iwi and are keen to share some of your whakaaro on what it means to be Ngāruahine, please complete the short application here.
