Te Korowai Pātaka

Pātaka is an allocation of kai, including mātaitai (seafood), to support uri kaupapa and is managed by hapū appointed Pātaka Kaitiaki.  The three types of pātaka are:

• NFL pātaka – annual hapū allocation
• Pātaka whata – supplied for iwi cultural purposes e.g. tangi, AGMs
• Diary Pātaka – Cheese allocation for Iwi and hapū AGM
