There is reoccurring kōrero happening at a whānau, hapū and pā level; fulfilling the expectations of our tūpuna, preservation of our taonga, intergenerational investment, and trusting that our people have the answers. Emma sees her role as; listening and ensuring that those kōrero inform the mahi of Te Korowai.

Emma is a proud product of Te Kōhanga Reo, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori, rumaki reo Māori, kura Katorika, Te Ataarangi, Te Pīnakitanga and Te Kapunipuni Reo o Taranaki. She also has a Bachelor of Design in Digital media, Bachelor of Arts in Te Reo Māori and Māori Studies, and a Masters of Business Administration. Emma has strong experience in executive leadership and governance in large organisations.

Emma looks forward to serving all Ngāruahine on Te Korowai Board.
